Big Money Stocks And How To Find Them!

With the stock market at all time highs, there’s no shortage of experts on how to trade and invest in the stocks. Websites and infomercials promising four and five figure trades through an easy-to-learn system are all too common these days. But one need not spend money to make it in the stock market.

Each rising market has its premium sectors, and each such sector - its top stocks. They are called big money stocks and can not only their peer stocks and stocks in different sectors, but the whole market as well. Thus one of the surest ways to catch big trends in the market is to take a position in these high performers at a proper time, right before a huge price leap.

If the price of oil is rising steadily, certain oil sector stocks are likely to become momentum stocks while others perform in line with the sector. A few will underperform the sector. Finding the few that outperform in a hot sector requires careful planning, patience and a bit of luck. In the end these big winners become the momentum stocks that fund managers and investors all want to own.

For making good and reasonable profit on big money stocks one should have a lot of patience. It may take time, sometimes several months. Some active traders hold a set of stocks for a long period and buy/short sell other stocks with the remaining funds. True investors will wait until the stocks decline to facilitate opportunity buying, hold for a planned period or a set time or to increase their liquidity. All picks do not make money and it is important that one should liquidate the losing stocks.

The key thing in making profits in the stock markets is timing. This decides whether one makes a profit or goes into the red. Even worthless shares can give one a profit provided one knows when to pick and when to sell. However, big money stocks, which are known as blue chip in stock market parlance, are evergreen and give good returns to the holder. They are always good in the long run and the holder can have a level of comfort that his capital is secure.

Even though big money stocks exist in both bull and bear markets, they are easier to find in good times. In the present bull market, one can easily find out hot sectors and future potential hot sectors by going through financial news papers or watching the business news. However it takes a little bit of homework, patience and luck to identify the big performing stocks out of these hot sectors.

Stock markets are booming and every bull run has winning/losing sectors and every sector has high performers. These big money stocks outperform the market as a whole. In order to catch big trends in the market, one should take position on high performers at the appropriate time. The momentum stocks attract fund managers/investors since they outperform other stocks. Active traders keep core position on profitable stocks and buy/short sell with remaining funds. One has to be patient with these stocks. True investors buy at the right time and sell with a planned target/time. Losers will be liquidated. By reading newspapers or watching TV channels hot stocks can be identified.
